Bum cushion

I have developed coccydynia. Its very painful and means I cant really sit at the computer without crying out in pain. I’ve had it for a couple of months but only went to the Drs. yesterday. There isn’t any treatment and the only thing that will cure it is not sitting on it. Thats hard when you’re a lazy cow like me. Lee is buying me a rubber ring to sit on, that should help.

I’ve finished a few crochet projects that I’m pleased with. First there is the african flower cushion. I’m getting a new sofa and chairs on monday and I made it just for that reason.

Then my biggest crochet project yet, the giant granny blanket! It’s so lovely and soft. I’m delighted with it.

Its also got the beagle seal of approval which is of course what I live for.

Just finished re-design on Lees blog. I like it!

Sunday morning was spent pottering about in the garden and even though I had a really bad cold I enjoyed getting everything planted up. I spent the rest the day wrapped up in my fleecy dressing gown sat outside in the sun. We had a veggie bbq and enjoyed each others company.

I’ve just given Daniel his first mohawk. He looks ace!

Finished this ages ago but only photographed it (with phone) yesterday.

I’m working on a few projects and also we’re about to start knocking walls down in the kitchen. So updating here is taking a back seat. I’ve even cancelled our camping trip for this weekend because we are just too busy. Shocking I know !

I’m almost finished with my giant granny blanket with just half a square to go. I think I’m going to do a scalloped edge when its all finished. This is a terrible pic and it looks all wonky due to the wide angled lens.

I’ve also made some progress on Karens dolly. She’s going to be very pretty when shes finished. Well I hope so anyway!

Last of all I had a delivery of yarn from Texere. Its all lovely, bright DK cotton. Not sure what I’ll use it for but I’m thinking yet another blanket is in order.
