I was looking back at this post from last year and I’ve not achieved much from that list. The first bit of 2009 was horrible for me. I was ill and it left me incapable of doing the easiest of things, like talking, but then everything turned around and I think we’ve all been the happiest we’ve ever been. Sometimes you need a massive kick up the bum to get yourself sorted and thats what I got. I’m looking forward to the year ahead and plan on achieving the things that have been hanging around for years. Here’s my list of personal goals for 2010.
Carry on losing weight and reach my target.
Enroll in an art course.
Launch an online business.
Then of course there are my goals for the house.
Open up living, dining. kitchen ares so downstairs is all open plan.

Yet again I’m trying to use up the yarn in my stash. I don’t know how I manage to acquire so much crappy yarn . Well I do, it’s because I’m tight and can’t justify expensive yarn, except for socks. So I buy cheapo stuff that I don’t really want to use or I buy a couple of skeins of quality yarn but not enough to make anything worthwhile. I’m just going to give all the crap to the charity shop and start again.
This bag is inspired by this pattern over at attic24 although I obviously didn’t follow the pattern. I like it and think it will be nice as as a summer beach bag.

So I was looking for pics of Will from Glee to make a destop from and I came across this. Disregard the ridiculous outfit and check him out! Who’d thunk all that was hiding under those cardigans.

We’re all completely obsessed with Glee. Obsessed I tell ya! I’ve got the soundtrack on repeat, Lee keeps dancing and bursting into song and L, well she’s been living in and episode of Glee for about a year now so no change there. It really is awesome, and something Lee and I should hate. We’re miserable sods really and singing, dancing and cheesy plots aren’t really our thing. It’s left us baffled as to why we love it so much but we truly do. We watched the last episode and now have to wait until the christmas break is over. Our evenings will be a whole lot duller without it.
I should also mention I’m in love with Will and that Sue Sylvester is my hero.

Crochet seems to register better in my brain at the moment so I’m trying my hand at following a few simple patterns. I’ve started with a couple of lacy scarves and I’m really enjoying myself.
