Soulpad
My dream tent. If I sold all of my remaining dolls I might be able to buy one. Selling little Lyra would be like selling one of my children though.
Blanket crazy
I’m addicted to crochet blankets. ADDICTED. So much so that I have developed RSI in my wrist due to the massive amount of hookage going on. I’ve started the hexagon blanket using brown, gold and orange for a nice 70′s feel but all I can do now is look at it sitting there in my basket.
I also bought some really cheap yet lovely and soft acrylic brights to make yet another blanket. I might do larger granny squares for this one. Not sure what I’ll do with all these finished blankets. Maybe I should start palming them off on people…
Oh and I finished my little zigzag scraps blanket originally for the dogs but now claimed by my mother.

I adore this blog and followed her great tutorial on how to make a crochet hexagon. These will form my next blanket.
Newbie
Ruby experienced her first camping trip last weekend and all in all she did well. The outdoor part of camping was right up her street put once in the tent she was a complete nightmare. She committed the ultimate crime of knocking over two FULL glasses of wine! We were hoping Mal would teach her some camping manners but he was asleep on Lee’s knee for most of the time. We’ve got her a god crate for our next trip that will hopefully keep her safe and our wine glasses full!
and this is where we’ve been walking in the mornings. It’s lovely and only 3 minutes across the fields from our house so very convenient. Ruby is doing a good job of keeping me fit^_^
About 9pm every night she crashes out and we all relax.
She’s a great dog and everyone loves her. Even old Susie has warmed to her and Mal is completely tired out from all the playing. I’m so glad we found her.
