Lee is in love obsessed with E from Eels and has successfully spread some of his infatuation on to me. I’ve been listening to Blinking lights and other Revelations on repeat for the last 2 days. It’s a brilliant album. I have THIS SONG going round in my head constantly. It makes me feel good instantly and at the moment that’s quite an achievement.

Gym induction went really well. I paid for a year in advance so I’ve got to go now…..^_^

I can’t seem to focus on much lately. I’m plagued by indecisiveness at the best of times but these days I can’t decide on anything. I’m not getting much knitting done as a result. I have all these projects on the go:
Knitted bunny from a Debbie bliss pattern-40% done
Simple cotton shawl-3% done
Ankle socks-10% done
Baby sweater for charity-2% done
Top down cardi-5% done

Will I ever finish any of them?

Did I mention I have a Gym induction tomorrow? I’m crapping myself. I hope they don’t make me exercise in front of them to see just how unfit I am.

I really want a comedy tattoo and a fingerstache would be perfect. I don’t think Lee would let me do it though.

Camping is not happening on Saturday and I’m not sure we’ll do something else instead. Maybe I should just spend my evening knitting or even better making badges. I have tons of ideas and think I’ll start listing a few on Etsy.
Lee is away and it feels odd to be alone with the kids over night. I don’t like it at all. I can hear Kevin McCloud in the background, on the T.V talking to a guy who is building a house from tyres. It’s reassuring though not as nice as having Lee talking to me about the effluent plant.

I was going to go to my local knit meet tonight but didn’t feel up to it. I’ve been more miserable than usual this past week and didn’t want to inflict others. That was nice of me I think.

I made another Tuva hat because I love the pattern and it knits up in a night. I used Sirdar eco wool for this and it’s lovely and warm. The colours are nice too. I look really bad in this pic but I hey ho .

I’m going to wear it next Saturday when we camp here. I hope its not to chilly. Little green will keep us warm I’m sure.

Our newest member of the family has been here since Thursday and she’s brilliant. I had thought she might be timid but she’s not at all. She’s very nosy and loves to be stroked and played with. She’s living with Lee in the conservatory, well he doesn’t actually live in there but that is where most of his man crap is housed. I think he enjoys the company. It’s great to let her out and watch her hop around the room. I love her.

I sometimes read my blog back and think I sound completely superficial. I sometimes think I should try and write something more substantial. Then I think that I’d rather come across as superficial than a complete bore.

I’ve been busy coding websites so no time for crafts. It’s a shame because I’ve got so many things I want to do. I found these lovely free embroidery patterns by Andrea Zuill and plan on sewing this one for a cushion cover.

My knitting is driving me nuts at the moment. I have nothing in my stash I want to knit with but don’t want to buy anymore yarn until I’ve used up some of what I’ve got. Mostly my stash is made up of odd balls of various yarns that I’ve either picked up from charity shops or I’ve only been able to afford one or two balls. Maybe I should just knit hats to use it all up. I could always put them away to use next year. Once I’ve made some room I’m only going to buy yarn that I already have a project for.
Forget that. Whilst typing this I strayed onto ravelry and found this pattern by Stefanie Japel. I’ll knit a few of these along with some hats and I should be down quite a few balls ^_^

We’ve also managed to convince ourselves that we need a bunny. D wants to call it Logan if it’s a boy, after Wolverine. I’ve contacted a breeder of mini lionhead rabbits and we will maybe have our little guy by the end of February. Secretly I want one of these but I don’t think I could get Lee to accept it.
