We had fun in our posh safari tent but I have to say it had many bad points. First of all it was infested with earwigs, hundreds of them. We couldn’t sleep because they were getting in to the beds! The wood burning stove was such a pain in the arse, it took so long to get going we had to wait about an hour to get our cup of tea in the morning. Not good at all. The other things that bugged me were the fact that nothing was provided. We had to buy loo roll and tea lights as well as a dishcloth and tea towel. I think for almost £600 those should have been provided.
That being said we had a great time. The location of the tent was fantastic. It was right on the beach and there were lots of animals around to make it extra fun. Daniel took great delight in collecting our eggs from the ducks and chickens every morning. The beach was very private and really good for body boarding.
I did take my camera but as usual I couldnt be bothered taking any pics! I got a few on the last day but they aren’t very good.

Massive kettle!

Ruby just chillin on the porch.
for some reason only known by him, daniel has no trousers on.

It looked better before our junk was outside.

All in all it was a really relaxed holiday but I much prefer the camping we do usually. We have really nice stuff now and everything is just how we like it. We’re off to Bude in Cornwall next Sunday and I will try extra hard to take pics.
